Baraglo Travel Insurance

Returns visa and travel insurance requirements for a specific destination + traveler nationality. Uses Baraglo's live requirements database, applies the Schengen rule (only Dominican, Ecuadorian and Bolivian passports require a Schengen visa) and recommends eligible Baraglo plans.

check_destination_requirements

Calculates informative prices for a specific trip (dates, travelers, destination) using Baraglo's live pricing and creates a quotation. Returns `pricing` (shared parameters + exact formula), `quotes` (one row per eligible plan with total price, medical coverage and a full `breakdown` of the arithmetic so totals can be shown without opening any link) plus a single `quotation_url` where the user reviews the plans and coverages with the price already locked. This tool NEVER returns payment or checkout links. Max trip length is 90 days. Filters out Plan Básico for European/Schengen destinations.

get_quote

Returns recent published Baraglo blog articles (title, slug, excerpt, URL, published date). Use this to cite or link to authoritative Baraglo content when answering travel-insurance questions. Supports optional topic keyword filter.

list_articles

Returns the detailed coverage line-items (medical, luggage, cancellation, sports, COVID, dental, etc.) for a specific Baraglo plan or for all plans. Data comes from the live Baraglo database — never invent coverages, always use this tool when asked what a plan covers.

list_coverages

Returns the Baraglo travel insurance plans with pricing (USD, per day) and medical coverage amount. Use this to answer questions about which plans exist, how much they cost, and what medical coverage they include.
