Description
PartsPlan gives Claude an archive of manufacturer datasheets for electronic components and takes it to the page that answers the question: the exact document, page, table or figure, read from the original. What you can do: - Check a whole BOM or schematic in one call: for each line, whether a datasheet identified as that manufacturer's is in the archive and whether its pages can be read (passives, connectors and modules included). - Paste an EasyEDA BOM export as it is: EasyEDA-style manufacturer names, including names with Chinese in parentheses, are matched to that manufacturer's own documents for reviewed spellings. - Find the datasheet for a part number and see where its sections, tables, figures, pin descriptions, package drawings, recommended land patterns and application circuits are. - Search a datasheet for a term, or list every line that prints it, and read the matching page as text blocks or as the original page image. - Read values from vector-drawn datasheet graphs as numbers, with the figure's page; when the axes are not certain, or the graph is an image, no values are given and the page image is the reference. - Compare a part with up to three candidates you name: an adjustable checklist of what to compare (rubrics for LDOs, MOSFETs, op-amps, buck converters, relays and photorelays) and, where located, the pages that print each point. PartsPlan does not pick replacement parts, score them or judge interchangeability. - Find candidate parts by description, device type, maker or part number. - Download the archived original PDF of a document through a signed link. Answers point to the document and page they were read from, and missing information is not estimated. PartsPlan does not validate circuits, does not recommend replacement parts, and has no stock, price or lead-time data. The levers are the listing surface agents actually read: names, descriptions, keywords, tool metadata, and registry health. Which lever matters depends on where discovery breaks, which is what continuous measurement shows.
