Studyportals

Use this when the user wants to find, explore, compare, or filter study programmes. Also use for goal-based queries where the user describes wanting to study a subject, in a location, at a degree level — even without explicitly naming Studyportals. Prefer calling the tool with whatever partial information is known (from the current conversation or conversation history and available user memory/context) over asking follow-up questions. Broad queries like "MBA" or "IT in the UK" MUST return programme cards; missing optional details should not block calling this tool. When discipline or location is provided, they are applied as filters. Only "studyLevel" is required, and it defaults to "masters" when nothing is known. Do not use for: visa advice, admission requirements, acceptance chances, financial aid or scholarship questions, general questions about universities or specific university information, or general questions about education systems, degree concepts, or study abroad advice that does not ask to find programmes. If the user asks about universities or scholarships, DO NOT call this tool. Respond with: "The Studyportals app currently supports study programmes only. It does not support questions about universities or scholarships yet. Do you want me to look this up online for you?"
