Project Tool: Add a new task to the marketing plan for a website.

PROJECT_addPlanTask

Project Tool: Add a single backlink to the backlink monitor for a website. Returns `{ id: <backlink_id> }` — the dictionary-level `backlink_id` (accepted by `deleteProjectBacklinks`). IMPORTANT: `moveBacklinksToGroup` and `recheckProjectBacklinks` do NOT accept this value — they require the row-level `id` field from `listProjectBacklinks` (passing this returned backlink_id to moveBacklinksToGroup is a silent no-op; to recheck it errors "Backlinks are non exists").

SE Visible Tool: Add one or more aliases to an existing brand (works for both the primary brand and competitors). Each alias title must be unique within the project and not match any existing brand or alias. To replace/clear the whole alias set instead, use SEV_updateBrand.

SEV_addBrandAliases

SE Visible Tool: Add a competitor brand to a project, with a domain and optional aliases. Brands created here are always competitors (is_primary: false); the primary brand is set at project creation. The title must be unique within the project.

SEV_createBrand

SE Visible Tool: Add a place for a project to track its prompts in. The location is created from the project's current engine and language combinations, but existing prompt assignments are NOT copied — a freshly added location starts with no prompts, so follow up with SEV_createPrompts and pass the new location id. Adding a place that was deleted before creates a new location; the deleted one stays deleted with its history. Tracking a second location needs SE Visible Plus and is additionally gated per organisation — otherwise the call answers 403 location_limit_reached with max_locations. A country+city already tracked answers 409 location_duplicate.

SEV_createProjectLocation

Project Tool: Add a Google search engine to a project for rank tracking. Country targeting takes EXACTLY ONE of: (a) `country_code` — ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 (e.g. "us", "de", "fr"); the server resolves it to the right `search_engine_id`. (b) `search_engine_id` — direct numeric ID for callers who already have it (look up via PROJECT_getAvailableSearchEngines, e.g. 200 = Google USA). Returns `site_engine_id`, the project-local ID used by every other rank-tracking tool (`runPositionCheck`, `getPositionHistory`, `getKeywordStats`, etc.).

Data Tool: Returns authority metrics — InLink Rank (page authority) and Domain InLink Rank — for a target domain, host, or URL.

Data Tool: Returns backlink-profile fields for one or many targets — counts plus authority (InLink Rank, Domain InLink Rank), home-page link counts, text-link totals, and referring-domain breakdowns. Use for an at-a-glance profile; for only the core counts, use getBacklinksMetrics. Supports batch requests.

DATA_getBacklinksSummary

Data Tool: Returns all backlinks pointing to a target in large pages (up to 100,000 per page) via a `next` cursor, with no filtering. Use to pull an entire backlink set in batches; for a filtered or sorted slice, use getAllBacklinks.

DATA_getBacklinksRaw

Data Tool: Returns a filtered, sortable list of backlinks pointing to a target (up to 10,000). Each entry includes url_from, url_to, anchor, nofollow, and inlink_rank. Filter by inlink_rank, domain_inlink_rank, source/target URL, anchor text, and nofollow status; sort via order_by. Use when you want a specific slice of backlinks; to pull an entire backlink set in large batches, use getBacklinksRaw.

Project Tool: Create a new project (a "site" in SE Ranking terminology) on the authenticated account. Returns `{ site_id }` — pass that ID to every other project-scoped tool (`addSearchEngine`, `listKeywords`, audits, etc.). The URL must be a real, resolvable domain; reserved test domains like `*.example.com` are rejected with HTTP 400 "Incorrect website URL". To track-but-not-poll a project (e.g. for tests), pair `is_active: "0"` with `check_freq: "manual"` and `disable_audit: "1"`.

PROJECT_createProject

Project Tool: Create a new project group — an account-level folder that organizes projects — on the authenticated account. Pass a group name; returns the new group ID, which you can pass as site_group_id when creating or updating a project. No project ID is required.

Project Tool: Create a new AI Result Tracker prompt group for a site. Returns 400 if a group with the same name already exists.

SE Visible Tool: Create one or more topics in a project. Topics group related prompts so you can organise what you track and slice metrics by theme. Returns the created topics. (There is no separate list-topics call — read topics via SEV_getProject.)
