Display the quote finalisation widget. Generates a signed session link and renders the out-of-chat form so the user can complete the quoting process.

Show the vehicle selector widget so the user can pick their exact vehicle from the matched options. Call this when naked_quote returns a vehicle selection step.

pick_vehicle

Recalculate and return updated pricing for a car quote after the user changes cover options (excess, cover start date, car hire, liability). Called by the quote summary widget when the user adjusts options; do not call this from the conversation flow — use view_and_adjust_quote instead.

Return vehicle match candidates for the current session so the vehicle selector widget can display them. Read-only — does not select a vehicle or advance the quote flow.

Start or continue an insurance quote flow for Car or Single Item (phones, laptops, etc.) insurance. Provide any known facts upfront in newInfoFromUser to speed things up. When answering questions, send answerJSON that matches the returned answerSchema exactly. The tool returns the next question, a UI render instruction, or a completed quote. Current v1 support in the ChatGPT app: Car insurance quotes only. Single item quotes are not yet supported in-chat. How it works: - New quote: Set answerJSON to null and include any known facts in newInfoFromUser. - Schema fidelity: When you send answerJSON, match the schema exactly (including required parent objects). - Corrections: Use the corrections field to fix prior information; do not place corrections in answerJSON. - Efficiency: Batch missing fields into one user question when possible, and use newInfoFromUser for anything you already know. Important: Do not request the details needed for a binding quote in chat. Use the secure_quote_form tool/widget when required by the flow. Parameters: - product (required): "CAR" for car insurance. "SINGLE_ITEM" is currently unsupported in the ChatGPT app and returns a guidance message. - answerJSON (null | object): User's answer matching the answerSchema exactly. Use null for the first call. - newInfoFromUser (null | string): Free-text field for any info you've gathered upfront - corrections (null | string): Plain-text description of what needs fixing (never in answerJSON) - fullUserMessage (required): The raw, unedited message from the user - fullClientMessage (required): What you told the user (for audit trail)

Show the user their quote summary. Call this tool when the user wants to see their price — it renders the interactive quote summary widget and returns the pricing details. This is the primary way to display a completed quote. Optionally pass excess, cover_start_date, car_hire, or liability to update cover options and re-price in the same call. If the quote is not ready yet, handle the status accordingly: - IN_PROGRESS: Still calculating — wait a few seconds and call again. - AWAITING_CUSTOMER_CONFIRMATION: Customer must complete the capture form first — call secure_quote_form. - ERROR: Quote failed — surface the error message to the user.
