Update the blog banner (image, title, subtext, colors, banner CSS), header navigation items, and footer text. Omit a field to leave it unchanged; pass null to clear it. Changes apply to the live blog immediately. banner_style accepts CSS rules or complete <style> blocks and needs editor permission or higher (blogs:code scope); the other fields do not.

update_blog_ui

Update basic blog settings: title, description, Google Analytics measurement ID, logo, favicon, social share (OG) image, language, and timezone. Only the provided fields are changed. Changes apply to the live blog immediately.

update_blog_settings

Updates the custom design code fields of the blog. This instantly changes your live blog design; validate first with validate_design_code. Only the provided fields are changed; pass null to clear a field. The response includes the blog home URL — open it to confirm the new design. Validation is compile-level only: Handlebars partials ({{> ...}}) and helper calls without arguments can still fail at render time, so always check the rendered blog page after saving. Requires editor permission or higher on the blog (blogs:code scope).

update_design_code

Update fields of an existing post. If the post is already published, changes go live on the public blog immediately. Returns the updated post and a shareable preview URL.

update_post

Update an existing redirect rule. Only the provided fields are changed. The change takes effect on the live blog immediately.

update_redirect

Updates a tag's name and/or URL slug.

update_tag

Upload an image (base64) to inblog storage and get back a public URL, usable in post content_html or as a featured image. Max size 3MB (base64 uploads are constrained by the request body limit).

upload_image

Checks a design code field for errors without saving it — always run this before update_design_code. Handlebars template fields (custom_banner_code, custom_layout_code) are compiled against the registered helper set, reporting syntax errors and unknown helpers with line numbers. Header HTML rejects new or modified script, meta, and style tags; removing complete legacy @import or @font-face rules is allowed. CSS is checked using the save rules: valid CSS rules or complete style blocks; unchanged saved CSS is preserved. Footer HTML passes through. Validation is compile-level only: Handlebars partials ({{> ...}}) and helper calls without arguments can still fail at render time, so always check the rendered blog page after saving.
