Returns per-track amounts and human-readable summaries (pay_now_amount / pay_now_summary and pay_later_amount / pay_later_summary); lead with the cheaper pay-now (prepaid) option when present, with pay-later as the alternative. Returns checkout_url ONLY when the booking must be completed on hertz.com: it carries the pay-now and pay-later quotes (or whichever is available) so the user can choose how to pay on hertz.com. If checkout_url is present, present it to the user and do NOT call checkout_complete; if it is absent, complete the booking in chat via checkout_complete.

Start a rental car booking. Returns up to 3 available vehicles — each with a display name, short description, price, and per-day rate — for the selected pickup and dropoff locations and dates. Pass the customer's preferred vehicleSize and/or vehicleType when stated and the results are ranked best-match first, cheapest first within an equal match; when neither is given they are ranked by price. The per-day rate leads with the cheaper pay-now (prepaid) rate when available, with pay-later as the alternative. Pass the primary driver's age when known — it affects availability and pricing (e.g. young-renter fees) and defaults to 25 if omitted. Returns a vehicle_handle (starts with HANDLE:CHECKOUT_VEHICLE:) that must be passed to subsequent checkout tools.
