Use this tool for requests like: 'What is your return policy?', 'How does this service work?', 'Do you offer financing?'. If no relevant knowledge is configured, this tool returns a safe fallback response. Do NOT use for browsing product/service listings (use show_products tool instead). ask_question

Use this when the user wants to schedule a call or meeting with the business. Displays an interactive booking calendar widget with available dates and times. Use customerName, customerEmail, customerPhone, date (YYYY-MM-DD), and time (HH:MM) for both prefill and direct booking. Direct booking occurs only when customerName, customerEmail, date, and time are provided together; otherwise the widget opens for interactive scheduling. When direct booking succeeds, the widget opens in confirmation state. Use this tool for requests like: 'I want to book a call', 'I want to schedule a meeting', 'Book me for Tuesday at 3 PM'. Do NOT use for submitting general inquiries (use submit_contact_form tool instead). DO NOT use for listing products/services (use show_products tool instead).

book_appointment

Use this when the user wants to browse, search, customize, add to cart, review a cart, or checkout products from the business's Shopify-backed storefront. Displays an interactive storefront widget with product cards, images, descriptions, categories, pricing, variant selection/customization, cart controls, order notes, and a checkout handoff. Purchases are not completed in chat; checkout opens an external storefront link. Use optional filters to narrow results: search, category, min_price, and max_price. When the user mentions a price, budget, affordability, or phrases like 'under', 'below', 'less than', 'over', 'at least', or 'between', extract those numeric constraints into min_price and/or max_price instead of leaving them only in search. Use this tool for requests like: 'Show me your jewelry', 'Find necklaces under $200' (search='necklaces', max_price=200), 'rings between $100 and $300' (search='rings', min_price=100, max_price=300), 'I want to buy this in silver', 'Add this to cart', or 'Checkout'. If the user requests a general storefront view, call with no filters to return available storefront products. Use cart_id only when continuing an existing storefront cart. Submission mode is triggered only when name, email, and message are provided together; otherwise the widget opens for interactive completion. Form submission is explicitly triggered by the user in the widget or by an explicit user request to submit now. Use this tool for requests like: 'I want to contact you', 'I want to discuss this', 'Send this message to the business'. Do NOT use for booking appointments (use book_appointment tool instead).
