TruthScan

Get a short-lived URL for uploading an image, for use when it is not already hosted at a public URL — including an image the user attached to this conversation. PUT the bytes to upload_url sending every header in required_headers exactly as given (the signature covers them; omitting one fails with SignatureDoesNotMatch). When storage_upload_url is returned, PUT the same bytes there too with storage_required_headers — that is the copy shown on the dashboard record, and skipping it leaves the record without its image. Then call detect_image with the returned file_ref. Does not consume detection credits — detect_image does.

create_image_upload_url

Analyze an image with TruthScan's AI image detector and return the likelihood that it was AI-generated (JPG, PNG, WebP, etc.). Two ways to supply the image. (1) image_url: any direct, publicly accessible image link — TruthScan downloads it server-side and forwards it to the detector, so this works without any upload ability on your side (hosts that require login or hard-block bots may still fail). (2) file_ref: for bytes you hold locally, when your environment can make HTTP PUT requests — upload via create_image_upload_url first. If the user attached an image but your environment cannot upload bytes, ask them for a public link to it instead.
