Teamtailor

Get a candidate in the current Teamtailor company: profile (including parsed resume/CV text), source, tags, applications, form and questionnaire answers, files, meeting bundles and recent activity.

Get a single job in the current Teamtailor company by ID, including content, application form, apply CTA, auto-reply, rejection message, visibility window, feature toggles, and pipeline stages. Also works for job templates (find their ids via list_jobs with templates: true).

Get pipeline stage counts (active and rejected applications per stage) for one or more jobs. Useful for checking pipeline health or comparing jobs without fetching full job details.

Get one candidate meeting event by ID, including base info, connected event IDs, participants, existing Co-pilot summaries, Co-pilot stats, and recording/transcript availability.

Get the transcript text for one meeting event by ID. Use cursor pagination for large transcripts.

Get one reusable application-form question from the current Teamtailor company, including type-specific fields, availability, tags, skill/trait link, answer count, and translations.

List job applications in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by job, candidate, stage, minimum rating, the responsible recruiter (assignee) and last update time.

List candidates in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by name/email query, status, tags, competencies (scorecard skills/traits), connected/sourced/rejected state, job, stage, creation date and last update time.

List the internal comments (notes) for a candidate in the current Teamtailor company, most recent first, with cursor pagination. Private notes the viewer can't see are excluded. Optionally filter to a single job application with job_application_id.

List the custom fields defined in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by what they're attached to (candidate or job). Returns each field's id, api_name, type and (for select fields) the available options with their ids — use those when calling set_custom_field.

List departments in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by name and division.

List divisions in the current Teamtailor company.

List employees in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by name, role, division, department, or location.

List the company's reusable interview-kit templates. If job_id is given, each kit is annotated as (picked) or (not picked) relative to that job.

List jobs in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by status and last update time. Pass mine: true to only list jobs where the current user is recruiter or team member. Pass templates: true to list job templates instead of regular jobs.

List locations in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by name or city.

List candidate meeting events (interviews) in the current company. Defaults to today + upcoming and ongoing events; optionally filter by attendee user, job, or a booked-slot date range. Only returns events whose candidate attendees you're allowed to see.

List the messages for a candidate in the current Teamtailor company, most recent first, with cursor pagination. Optionally filter to a single job application with job_application_id; omit it to get all of the candidate's messages.

List the company's reusable application-form questions in the default library.

List roles in the current Teamtailor company, optionally filtered by name, department, or division.

List the scorecards (reviews) for a candidate in the current Teamtailor company, most recent first, with cursor pagination. Requires permission to view candidate ratings. Optionally filter to a single job application with job_application_id.

List the company's scorecard criteria (skills and traits). In Teamtailor, 'skills' is the topic for the Skills tab; 'personality' is the topic for the Traits tab.

List the tags that already exist in the current Teamtailor company so you can reuse one instead of creating a near-duplicate with add_tag. Pass owner_type "candidate" or "job" to only return tags usable on that record type. Use query to search by name.

List the activity timeline for a candidate in the current Teamtailor company, newest entries first (by when they were recorded), with cursor pagination. Optionally filter to a single job application with job_application_id.

List todos (tasks) in the current Teamtailor company, open todos first ordered by due date. Optionally filter to a single record by setting owner_type ("candidate", "application", or "job") together with owner_id; the "job" filter includes todos on the job's applications. Filter by assignee_id (a user id from list_employees, or 0 for unassigned todos), or by status ("open" or "completed").

Move a job application to another stage on its job. Stages belong to a single job — use get_job to see the job's pipeline and stage ids. Runs the same stage automation as moving the application in the Teamtailor app (triggers, analytics). Moving to the stage the application is already in is a successful no-op. Rejected applications can't be moved, and moving to a hired stage is not supported via MCP — hire in the Teamtailor app instead.

Detach an interview kit from a job. If interviews already exist for the kit on this job, the kit is hidden rather than destroyed (preserving history).

Remove an application-form question from a job. Any conditional show_if references from sibling questions are cleaned up automatically.

Remove a skill or trait (scorecard criterium) from a job.

Remove a tag from a candidate or job in the current Teamtailor company. Set owner_type to "candidate" or "job" and owner_id to that record's numeric id. tag is matched case-insensitively. Removing a tag the record doesn't have is a no-op.

Set (or clear) the value of a custom field on a candidate or job in the current Teamtailor company. Identify the field by custom_field_id or api_name (see list_custom_fields). Value format depends on the field type (as reported by list_custom_fields): text/email/url/phone → string, number → number, boolean → true/false, date → "YYYY-MM-DD", select → a single option (id or label), multiselect → an array of options (ids or labels). Pass null to clear the field.

Unarchive a reusable application-form question so it can be added to new places again.

Update editable fields on a job in the current Teamtailor company. Some fields (internal_name, department, division, role, locations, salary, employment type/level, remote_status, recruiter, openings, hiring dates) normally trigger the job-approval flow — when the company has job approvals activated, those fields are refused via MCP and must be edited in the Teamtailor app. All other fields update directly. Pass only the fields you want to change. Also works for job templates (find their ids via list_jobs with templates: true).

Update a reusable application-form question in the current Teamtailor company, including non-default translations. Question type and status are not changed by this tool; use archive_question or unarchive_question for status.

Update a todo (task) in the current Teamtailor company. Only the given fields change: value is the task text, description an optional longer text (pass "" to clear), due a date as YYYY-MM-DD (pass "" to clear), and assignee_id a user id from list_employees (pass 0 to unassign). Use complete_todo to complete or reopen a todo, and list_todos to find todo ids.
