ShieldGPS

Use this to inspect one ShieldGPS tracker by its device_id or IMEI from list_devices. Returns customer-facing device details, connectivity, IMEI, and latest activity timestamps, but never coordinates, addresses, SIM, billing, subscription, packet, or command data.

get_device

Use this when the customer asks where one ShieldGPS tracker is now or for its most recently recorded position. Requires exactly one device_id or IMEI returned by list_devices. Coordinates and recorded_at are authoritative; address is a best-effort formatted string and may be null.

get_latest_location

Use this when the customer asks where one ShieldGPS tracker was at a particular past date and time. Returns the nearest usable recorded positions at or before and after the requested instant, without interpolation. Requires exactly one device_id or IMEI returned by list_devices and a timestamp with an explicit UTC offset. Use get_latest_location for the current or latest position.

get_location_at_time

Use this when the customer wants to find or review trackers in their ShieldGPS account. Returns at most 100 devices in deterministic order with each tracker’s IMEI, hardware model, connectivity, and latest activity timestamps, plus its stable device_id. get_device and get_latest_location accept either identifier. If truncated is true, explain that the account has additional devices. This tool never returns coordinates, addresses, or location history.

list_devices

Use this when the customer asks which ShieldGPS account is connected. Returns only the authenticated account's name and email address, without device, subscription, billing, or location data.
