Relay

Single-shot context for one athlete: profile header (name, tags, coachNotes, goals, limitations), a pre-computed `summary` (adherence pct, last/next workout, in-progress id), and the full calendar in range. Workouts are grouped by program; each carries `daysFromToday` (anchored to top-level `today`) and a `completion` block (expectedSets, loggedSets, startedAt, lastActivityAt). Sets roll up identical consecutive unlogged sets to `{count, prescribed}`; logged sets stay expanded with `performed` split into `{value, unit}` for load/distance/force/power. Default range is today -14 days through +14 days.

Read this athlete's questionnaire submissions, with the questions and answers paired together. Newest first. Pass startDate/endDate to scope to a period; covers all questionnaire types in range (daily, post-session, weekly).

Read program metadata (title, description, duration, phases) + workout headers (titles only, no content). Use `get_workout` to read a workout's exercises and sets.

Read the FULL content of a workout: ordered exercises and their prescribed sets (reps, load, RPE, rest, tempo, etc.). Required before editing — each exercise carries a stable `entryId` you pass to `update_exercise_in_workout` / `remove_exercise_from_workout` / `add_exercises_to_workout` (NOT a positional index).

Group two or more existing exercises in a workout into a superset (performed back-to-back). Address them by their stable `entryId` from `get_workout`. The superset is placed where its first member currently sits; performance/logged data is preserved. Use `ungroup_superset` to undo.

List athletes (and other org members) the coach has access to. Returns ids, display names, handles, tags, and role.

List the coach's own program templates (their authored master programs — not assigned-to-athlete copies). Use this to find a program by title before reading or editing it.

List standalone workout TEMPLATES — workouts that don't belong to a program (program_id is null). These are reusable building blocks the coach can copy into programs via `copy_workout`. Titles only.

Move a workout. Two modes: (a) PROGRAM SLOT — pass targetWeekNumber + targetDayNumber to move within the program grid; (b) ATHLETE CALENDAR — pass targetDate (YYYY-MM-DD) to reschedule an athlete-calendar workout to a different date.

Apply periodized progression across copies of one or more template workouts in a SINGLE call. PREFERRED: pass `lineages: [{baseWorkoutId, targetWorkoutIds}, ...]` to batch every template (Upper A / Lower A / Upper B / Lower B …) in one shot. Each target gets `(step × delta)` applied to load/reps/RPE/rest, and `setsDelta` adjusts the SET COUNT per step (negative = deload trim, positive = grow). Cumulative across steps. Idiomatic flow: create_workout (W1 templates) → copy_workout to W2..N → progress_workouts (one call, all lineages, including any deload via setsDelta).

Remove a single exercise (and all its sets) from a workout. Address it by its stable `entryId` from `get_workout`.

Search the exercise library to resolve movements to ids. Pass every movement you need in `queries` — one call for all of them. Call it BEFORE create_workout / add_exercises_to_workout / update_exercise_in_workout: they can only reference exercises that already exist, by the returned `id`.

Dissolve a superset: the exercises stay in the workout (and keep their logged data) but are no longer performed back-to-back. Pass the stable `entryId` of any one exercise in the superset.

Update athlete profile fields. Tags use delta ops (add/remove/set). Coach notes support append and find-and-replace modes (like AI preferences). Goals and limitations are simple string replacement. Pass ONLY the fields you want to change.

Update a single exercise inside a workout: replace its sets, change notes/eachSide/visibleFields, and/or swap it to a different library exercise (pass `swapToExerciseId` — the target's `id` from `search_exercises`). Address the exercise by its stable `entryId` from `get_workout`. Provide ONLY the fields you want to change. Use `visibleFields` to change which set columns the UI renders — never delete and re-add an exercise just to change visible fields.
