The batch is non-atomic and returns every operation result in input order. Registered human-readable references require exact matches; failed exact names return partial candidates in that operation's preflight fault. Deterministic per-operation preflight failures and QuickBooks faults do not prevent valid sibling operations from continuing.

Preferred attachment-content path whenever the client can perform a separate raw HTTP POST, regardless of file size; it avoids Base64 expansion and MCP/client context limits. Create a short-lived authenticated staging session for an attachment from 1 byte through 95,000,000 bytes, POST the exact original file bytes using the returned token header, Content-Type, identity encoding, and accurate Content-Length, then pass the completed payload_resource_id to upload_attachment. Compressed Content-Encoding is not accepted. Never silently resize, recompress, transcode, or otherwise alter a file merely to fit upload_attachment's inline limit; any transformation requires the user's explicit approval. If the client cannot make the raw HTTP POST and the file exceeds the recommended 16KB decoded inline size—or inline transfer is unreliable—give the user browser_upload_url so they can reselect and upload the unchanged original file. The hard 512KB inline compatibility ceiling is not a recommended request size.
