Pasal

The total customers owe on the shop's khata (credit book) and how many accounts are open. Names, phones and each balance only when the connection was allowed to see customer details. Read only.

get_khata_summary

The shop's draft looks, newest first (the newest 50): id, name, which app made it, when, a short list of what it changes against the live look, and a preview link. Does not change anything.

list_design_drafts

Products on sale whose stock is counted and has run out, or is at 5 or fewer: the same rule as Pasal's Home. Products whose stock is not counted are not listed. Read only.

get_low_stock

Orders still to fulfil, counted by status (Received, Packing, Ready), unpaid orders and their value, and open table bills, from the order board's newest 1000 orders. Customer names only when the connection was allowed to see them. Read only.

get_open_orders

Prepare a change to what delivery costs: the shop's delivery fee and the order amount over which delivery is free, and, for a shop that charges by delivery area, an area's fee and free-delivery amount, named by the area's name. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. Not offered here: switching delivery or pickup on or off, and adding, renaming or removing areas.

Prepare a promo code change: a new code that takes a percentage off everything in the shop, a change to what a code takes off, or switching a code off or back on. At most 50% off; a code that also discounts items already on sale needs a ceiling. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. Not offered here: bigger discounts, deleting a code, a code's last day, thank-you codes made for one customer, and choosing which products or events a code covers; those are done in Pasal.

Prepare a change to how the shop presents itself: its name, tagline, About text, Instagram handle and other social links (a handle, or a link on that platform's own site). Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. Not offered here: the shop's contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email), address, legal name, PAN, VAT and payment details; those are changed in Pasal.

Prepare a stock count change for counted products: add, take away or set a count, with a reason. For a product counted by colour and size, name the colour and size. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. Products with serial numbers, and products that do not count stock, are changed in Pasal.

Prepare adding a product, or changing one: name, price, sale price, stock, category, description, photo from a web address. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. New products are added as drafts, which customers cannot see or buy until someone publishes them in Pasal. Not offered here: publishing, deleting, sizes and colour and size pairs, serial numbers, the buying price. Up to 50 products; up to 3 when a description changes; up to 2 photos.

Prepare a change to the shop's opening hours: for each day named, open between two times (Nepal time), closed, or not stated; and the one-line hours text the shop page shows (at most 120 characters). Days not named stay as they are. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs.

Prepare writing, changing or clearing the note on orders, the same note Change the note sets in Pasal: what the kitchen or the counter needs to know. The customer sees the note in their account and on the receipt; no email is sent. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. Not on a cancelled or refunded order. Up to 20 orders, 500 characters a note.

Prepare confirming bookings that wait for an answer (Requested or on the Waitlist), or cancelling Confirmed ones, as the Bookings tab does. A booking is named by its date and time, or by its booking_ref. The summary says which customers get Pasal's confirmation email; a cancelled booking sends none. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. These changes are not undone from Settings. Declining is done in Pasal. Up to 20 bookings.

Prepare moving bookings that are still to come (Requested, Waitlist or Confirmed) to another date or time, keeping how long each runs: the date and time fields of Edit in the Bookings tab, nothing else. A booking is named by its date and time, or by its booking_ref. Pasal does not email the customer when a booking moves. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. Up to 20 bookings.

Prepare moving orders one step on, as the order board's button does (Received → Packing → Ready → Done), or cancelling an unpaid order that is still Received, with an optional reason the customer sees. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs. The summary says which customers get Pasal's usual email; an email cannot be taken back, so these changes are not undone from Settings. Not offered here: marking paid, refunds, ticket orders, table bills, orders on khata, and cancelling a paid or invoiced order. Up to 20 orders.

Prepare taking products off for today (back at midnight Nepal time, or at a time), or putting them back on, or switching In stock on or off. Nothing changes until the person says yes and apply_change runs.

Validate a DesignSpec and return a preview URL. The look lives in the URL hash; the shop is not saved.

preview_design_spec

Look up the shop's products by name, barcode or category: the price, the sale price when one is set, sizes and their prices, colour and size pairs with their codes, and how many are left where stock is counted (for people with the Products permission, as Low stock). Drafts and whether each product is live or a draft only for people who can see drafts in Pasal; the buying price only for the shop owner's sign-in. Up to 20 products. Read only.

For a day, week, month or custom range: revenue from paid item sales after order discounts, cost of goods from recorded cost prices, gross profit, the expenses recorded on Paid out, with how many item lines sold had no cost price. Only for the shop owner's sign-in, as in Pasal. Read only.

Make a draft the live look customers see, replacing the current one. Ask the person first and name the draft. The look it replaces is kept, so restore_previous_look can put it back.

publish_design_draft

The live public DesignSpec for a shop slug: only what the public storefront already shows. Does not write.

Paid sales for a day, week, month or custom range in Nepal time: the total, the number of sales, the average sale, the split by payment method, refunds handed back, and the same figures for the period before. Matches Order takings / Paid orders in Pasal. Read only.

get_sales_summary

Write a validated DesignSpec to the live shop, replacing its current look. Needs the shop's yes on pasal.studio (one shop per yes). Unknown templates are refused. This is the one customers see.

apply_design_spec

Totals from the shop's IRD sales book for a day, week, month or custom range: entries, taxable sales, VAT, discounts, cancelled bills, and credit and debit notes. Totals only, with no buyer names or PAN numbers. These are Pasal's own records, not a return filed with IRD. Read only.

get_tax_summary

Put back the look the live shop wore before its last change (a publish, a save, or a change on the Design tab). Running it again goes one more step back. Ask the person first. The owner's Filter, stock-count and WhatsApp switches stay as they are.

restore_previous_look

What Pasal can wear today: templates, sections, token lists, and the rules for custom colours (the spec's colors field). Ask this before proposing a DesignSpec.

get_design_registry

What the shop owes its suppliers in total and to each one (opening balance plus bills less payments, as the Suppliers tab shows it), and the supplier bills of the last 30 days. Only for the shop owner's sign-in, as in Pasal. Supplier phone numbers only when the connection was allowed to see contact details. Read only.
