Ofia Doc Maker

Create an empty project and return its id. Only needed when you want to upload assets before writing LaTeX. For most cases, use create_document instead.

create_project

Writes LaTeX as main.tex and compiles to PDF. Returns a direct download link and a link to open the project in Ofia. Two modes: • New document (no projectId): creates a new project automatically. • Existing project (supply projectId): writes into that project — use this when you uploaded images first with upload_file, so the assets are already there. For image-containing documents: call create_project → upload_file (one call per image) → create_document(projectId=..., latex=...).

create_document

Returns the ofia.app link for an existing compiled project. Only needed if you lost the link from create_document or compile_pdf.

get_pdf_link

Returns the user's Ofia account: current plan, credits remaining, and usage allowance. Call this whenever the user asks about their credits, balance, plan, quota, or how much usage they have left.

get_account

List the user's document projects. Useful to find a projectId for revising an existing document.

list_projects

Read the current content of a file in a project. Useful before revising to check what's there.

read_file

Recompile after manually writing files. Returns a download link and project link on success, or error log on failure. For most cases, use create_document or revise_document instead — they compile automatically.

compile_pdf

Update main.tex on an existing project and recompile. Use this to revise a document the user has already created — just pass the updated LaTeX and the same projectId. Returns a fresh download link and project link on success.

revise_document

Upload a binary file (image, PDF, etc.) so it can be referenced in LaTeX. Returns the projectId and path to use in \includegraphics{path}. If you don't have a project yet, create one first with create_project, upload assets, then call create_document with the latex that references them.

upload_file

Write or overwrite any file in a project by path (e.g. 'sections/intro.tex'). For main.tex edits, use revise_document instead — it writes and recompiles in one step.

write_file
