Draw arrows between existing nodes — a relationship the parent-child tree cannot show. Both ids must already exist. Never from a parent to its own child; that line is already on the canvas.

add_arrows

Add nodes under an existing parent. `nodes` is a nested tree — each entry may carry its own `children` to any depth — so add a whole branch in one call rather than one node per call. The server assigns every id. `parent_id` comes from get_canvas or from the canvas the last write returned (`1` is the root). To build a whole new map at once use create_project instead.

Add a labelled bracket over a contiguous run of sibling nodes. `start` and `end` are sibling ids under `anchor`, which must be their direct parent.

add_summaries

Create a new, saved mind map. Pass `outline` — a nested tree of {topic, children} — to build the ENTIRE map in this one call, up to 2000 nodes; the server assigns every id, so you never write one. Omit `outline` only when the user wants an empty map to fill in live. The result carries `project_id`, `project_url` and the full canvas with ids.

Export the map as a file, returned INLINE in the result — use it whenever the user asks for a file, a picture of the map, or the map as text. `markdown` and `csv` come back as utf-8 text in `data`; `png`, `svg`, `pdf` and `project` (.mma) come back base64, with `mime_type` and a suggested `filename`. Free and read-only. An export over ~5 MB cannot be returned inline.

export_project

Read a project's current map: title, chart type, theme, and the full node tree with the ids every edit tool needs, plus arrows and summaries. Use it to resume an existing project or when you have lost track of ids — NOT between two edits, since every write returns this same canvas. Calling it also RE-RENDERS the map in the chat, so use it when the user asks to see the map again. The project `title` (set_title) is separate from the root node's `topic` (update_nodes).

get_canvas
