Who am I: returns the Fin3000 account context for this connection - business units (with ids usable as business_unit_id parameters), MCP access level, which tools this connection may call, active features, and rate-limit info. Call this first to understand what data is reachable. Works with every MCP access level.

Get an aggregated financial report (German: BWA/betriebswirtschaftliche Auswertung, Umsatz/Erloese, Aufwand, Rohertrag, Ergebnis, Gewinn/Verlust) for a period. THE tool for 'Wie laeuft mein Jahr/Monat?', 'Wie hoch ist mein Umsatz?' and 'Wie sieht meine BWA aus?'. Do NOT calculate financial totals from search_journal_entries or search_transactions - those return paginated individual records. The response ALWAYS aims to include a year_to_date block: for 'this year' questions simply call with defaults (current month) and read year_to_date. date_from/date_to must lie in the SAME calendar year, otherwise year_to_date is omitted with ytd_omitted_reason. business_unit_id is optional (default: all business units, listed explicitly in the response). include_accounts=true adds per-account rows. Figures are provisional (include unlocked bookings). Requires the 'reports' feature.

Fetch one sales document (invoice/offer/credit note - German: Rechnung/Angebot/Gutschrift) by its id: header, line items (title, quantity, price, total), totals (net/tax/gross) and payment state. Use after search_sales_documents or list_open_items returned the id. Do NOT use to browse - use search_sales_documents. Example: 'What line items are on invoice RE-2026-0042?' (search first, then fetch by id).

Status of VAT return / tax filings via ELSTER (German: UStVA/Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung, EUeR, Steuerkonto): which submissions exist per period and whether they were accepted. Use for 'Wie ist der UStVA-Stand fuer Q2?'. Do NOT use for invoice or booking data. year: e.g. 2026. period: quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) or month number (1..12); both optional. status values include: draft, queued, validated, submitted, accepted, rejected. Example: 'Was the VAT return for June 2026 accepted?'

List open items (German: Offene Posten/OPOS): unpaid or partially paid outgoing invoices (receivables/Forderungen) and unpaid incoming invoices (payables/Verbindlichkeiten), with days overdue and open amounts. THE tool for overdue/outstanding/unpaid questions ('Welche Rechnungen sind ueberfaellig?'). Do NOT use for general document search - use search_sales_documents - and NOT for revenue/profit totals - use get_financial_report. side: receivable, payable, both (default both; business-unit level tokens always get receivables only). overdue_only: true limits to overdue items. as_of: ISO date, default today. Example: 'Which invoices are overdue right now?'

Search business partners: customers AND suppliers/vendors (German: Kunden UND Lieferanten) by freetext over name, company, client number and supplier number. Use to resolve a partner name to an id before other tools, or to answer 'what do we know about X'. Do NOT use for amounts or documents - use search_sales_documents / list_open_items. kind: customer, supplier, both (default both). Example: 'Find the supplier Telekom.'

Search received supplier invoices (German: Eingangsrechnungen/Belege) by freetext over the extracted vendor name and invoice number, plus an invoice-date range (ISO YYYY-MM-DD). Amounts/dates come from OCR extraction. Use for 'which bills did we receive from X'. Do NOT use for outgoing invoices (search_sales_documents) or for what is still unpaid (list_open_items, side=payable). Example: 'Show incoming invoices from Telekom in Q2 2026.'
