Experian Loans

Use this only when the user explicitly requests generic or non-personalized personal loan offers, explicitly declines authentication, or a personalized-loans follow-up asks to 'Show generic offers'. These offers are not personalized to the user's credit profile. Require exactly one US location: a valid 5-digit ZIP, a 2-letter state/territory/armed-forces code, or a full state/territory name. Codes are case-insensitive. If the user supplies both a ZIP and state, multiple locations, or a number that is not exactly 5 digits, ask them to provide one valid location. If explicit generic intent or authentication refusal has no location, ask for one US state or ZIP before calling this tool. Call it at most once per user message. Do not use for credit cards, mortgages, auto loans, or loan applications. POST-CALL DISPLAY RULE: The personal loan widget is the complete user-facing response. After this tool returns, do not add any prose, summary, table, explanation, follow-up question, or alternate-state suggestion outside the rendered widget.

get_generic_personal_loan_offers

This is the default entry point when the user asks for personal loan offers without stating or changing a loan amount or purpose. Do not use it when the user explicitly requests generic or non-personalized offers or explicitly declines authentication; use get_generic_personal_loan_offers for those cases. It takes no arguments. If the user provides, or wants to set or change, a loan amount or purpose, call loan_confirmation directly instead. Follow the returned nextToolName and assistantInstructions; do not ask for missing profile fields yourself.

check_loan_profile

Use this to render a widget where the customer reviews or edits their own loan details before checking offers; it only renders the form and reads the existing profile. Call this tool when check_loan_profile returns nextToolName=loan_confirmation, using the profileExists value from that response. Also call this directly — skipping check_loan_profile and personalized_loans — when the user states or wants to change a loan amount or purpose; pass the stated loanAmount and/or loanPurpose to prefill the widget for review. Do not collect required loan profile details in chat before calling this tool. If profileExists=true, the tool fetches the loanProfile from downstream and renders it. If profileExists=false, the tool renders editable values. If a directly-provided loanPurpose or loanAmount falls outside this tool's schema (an unsupported purpose, or an amount outside $1-$250,000), do NOT call this tool with that value; ask the user to clarify instead. POST-CALL DISPLAY RULE: The rendered widget is the complete response for this turn — add no prose.

loan_confirmation

Greets a user by name with a welcome message. Use this when the user wants to be greeted or says hello. Accepts a single parameter: name — the name of the user to greet.

Fetch personalized loan offers. Accepts no arguments. Call this whenever check_loan_profile returns this tool as nextToolName, or whenever a 'See my Offers' follow-up message arrives from the loan_confirmation widget — including every repeat occurrence in the same conversation, even if this tool was already called earlier. The loan profile may have changed since the last call, so never skip the call or reuse a prior result. POST-CALL DISPLAY RULE: The personalized loan offers widget is the complete user-facing response. After this tool returns, do not add prose outside the rendered widget.

Report authenticated (personalized) Personal Loan interaction analytics events to ClickStream. Accepts a list of events; each event carries only evt/response/trackLink/pc/cc. Events are forwarded to analytics asynchronously and the tool returns immediately.

Report unauthenticated (generic) Personal Loan interaction analytics events to ClickStream. Accepts a list of events; each event carries only evt/response/trackLink/pc/cc. Events are forwarded to analytics asynchronously and the tool returns immediately.

track_unauthorized_pl_analytics

Widget-only action, never called by the model. Only the widget calls this, when the user has changed values in the loan_confirmation widget's editable fields and selected See my Offers. For PLPre, require purpose, loanAmount, and annualIncome. For PLNew and PLPost, also require employmentStatus, homeOwner, and monthlyHousingPayment. Pass profileExists from the loan_confirmation widget so a brand-new profile is created and an existing one is updated.
