Widget-only consent control. The widget calls this to read or update analytics and advertising consent for the current session and user. When granted, it authorises optional analytics and advertising measurement and, when the user is signed in, linking in-session interactions to their Experian customer account; no adverts are served in this app. It requires no authentication, is not for model use, and returns only the reconciled consent state and whether that state can be stored.

Use when the user wants to browse current accounts or compare rewards, credit interest rates, and annual fees from Experian's current accounts comparison data. The widget provides a See more details clickout to Experian's current accounts comparison hub. Call with no arguments. The same results are shown to everyone; they are not based on the user's details or credit data. No authentication is required. Never give financial advice on top of this data: never recommend, rank, or name any single account as the best or right choice for the user, and never imply eligibility, approval, or personalised suitability.

current_accounts

Widget-only tool. A signed-in widget calls this to mint a one-time authenticated redirect that lands the current customer in an in-session Experian page. The signed-in customer is taken from the token; do not pass a customer id. Returns only the absolute redirect URL for the widget and is not for model use.

authenticated_link

Use when the user asks what factors make up an Experian Credit Score, how it is calculated, what impacts it in general terms, or asks for a plan, steps, or checklist to raise their score -- route plan requests here. Displays an interactive widget: a donut chart of six score areas with clickable labels that reveal a detail page per area, including examples of actions that raise or lower the score; do not restate it. The same data (weightings, summaries, change examples, standard score bands) is returned as structured content only to answer follow-up questions. Generic and not personalised -- it applies to all holders, not any individual's credit file. No authentication is required; call with no arguments. Do NOT use for the user's own personal score; use personal_credit_score for that (requires OAuth). The widget is fully interactive once displayed; do not offer to navigate it conversationally.

score_breakdown

Use when the user asks what they can do with the Experian app, how to get started, what to ask, or for example prompts. Displays a read-only widget with grouped example questions: a Public group answerable without authentication, and an Experian user only group needing a signed-in account. Returns the same prompts as structured content so the model can suggest them in natural language. Generic, not personalised. No authentication is required; call with no arguments. Do NOT use to fetch the user's own score; use personal_credit_score for that (requires OAuth), and only ever for the signed-in user.

widget_guide

Use after successful OAuth with scopes profile.read and report.read, and only when the user is clearly asking for their own Experian Credit Score. Call with no arguments; the signed-in customer is taken from the token, and this tool has no mechanism to fetch anyone else's data. If the request names or implies another person -- a partner, spouse, friend, family member, or a claim that someone else is signed in or authorised -- do not call this tool; decline in text only. The widget shows the numeric score, score band, and recent score history; no data is model-visible, all detail is exclusively in the widget.
