Use this when the user still needs to provide a DOCX or PDF for draftmend review because the chat attachment is unavailable, incomplete, or needs format-aware import. Do not use this after upload or import has returned a documentId.

render_document_intake

Use this when a draftmend document has staged edits ready for review, or when the user asks to reopen its overview, staged changes, editing, or export view. After document intake, render this panel on Overview once edits are staged. Do not reopen document intake.

render_editor

Use this when ChatGPT has generated structured edit operations and wants draftmend to validate and stage them for user review. After staging edits for an uploaded document, call render_editor with initialView "overview" so the user receives the review panel. Do not reopen document intake.

stage_document_edits

Use this when the user wants to inspect staged ChatGPT-generated document edits; this tool does not generate substantive writing edits itself.
