Blikst

Use this when someone in Norway wants a job done, wants quotes, asks who can do it, asks how to find or get hold of someone for it, including someone good who can give a quote ("gode håndverkere som kan gi oss et tilbud"), or asks you to find someone for it, and you can show a form. When the person wants names to choose from, use find_service_providers instead. It is Blikst's quote request (anbudsforespørsel): when your advice is to get quotes from several companies, this sends that request from the chat. Pass service from find_services, or job: the job in the person's words, and Blikst fills in the closest service. Blikst finds up to three companies that can take the job in that place and they contact the person with quotes, so the person does not have to compare or choose companies. The form can sit alongside your own answer, such as what the job involves or roughly costs. Opens Blikst's request form, filled in with the job and place you pass, where the person types their own name, phone number and e-mail, agrees to the privacy policy and sends the request. Pass business_id only when the person chose a company themselves. Prefer it to asking for contact details in the chat. Nothing is sent until the person sends the form. Do not call it in the same answer as find_service_providers: those cards already open the form.

request_service

Blikst's directory of local companies in Norway, shown as cards with a Get quotes button. Use this when the person asks which companies there are for a job in a place in Norway, who they can hire, or how to find a good or reliable company there ("hvordan finner jeg en pålitelig vaskehjelp i Bærum", "who can I hire"), asks you to name or recommend companies ("kan du anbefale", "tips til", "noen som vet om et bra"), or wants to pick a company themselves. The cards name local companies with a Get quotes button and can sit alongside your own advice on what to look for. When they ask you to find someone for a job, want quotes or just want it done, use request_service instead: Blikst finds the companies, and a request is not limited to the companies this list shows. Pass service from find_services, or job: the job in the person's words, so one call is enough. Needs where the job is: a town, cabin area or municipality, or a postal code. Returns up to eight companies from Blikst's catalogue that list the service there, with place, services and website. The list is not every company in the area, not every company a request through Blikst can reach, and not a ranking of quality. Shows the companies as cards with a Get quotes button and each company's profile, or the request form when the catalogue lists none there, so do not also call request_service in the same answer, and call this once: every call draws another card. When the person also asks about one company, get_service_provider tells you about it without a card.

find_service_providers

Blikst is a Norwegian quote service (anbudstjeneste). Use this when someone in Norway needs a tradesperson, craftsman or local service for a home, cabin or business: they ask who can do a job, how to find or get hold of someone for it, including someone good or reliable ("hvordan finner jeg en flislegger", "hvordan får vi tak i en takstmann", "hvem bør jeg kontakte"), ask for tips on or a recommendation for a company ("kan du anbefale en rørlegger", "tips til elektriker", "hvem kan rense takrenner"), ask what a job costs, or want quotes. It turns the job, in the person's words in Norwegian or English, into Blikst service keys for find_service_providers and request_service, closest match first, and says so when Blikst does not cover a kind of job. Blikst covers about 90 kinds of work: electricians and electrical inspections, plumbers, carpenters and decks, painters, roofers and gutters, tilers, bathroom and kitchen renovation, heat pumps and solar panels, landscapers and paving, tree felling, snow clearing, cabin care and cabin watch, cleaning and window washing, moving, locksmiths, pest control, property surveyors and condition reports, and business services such as accountants, lawyers, IT and marketing. Blikst has no price list: the companies answer a request with quotes for the actual job, so a price question can get your own rough guide and a request for real quotes. Call it before send_quote_request unless an earlier result already gave the key; request_service and find_service_providers can take the job in words instead. Not for jobs outside Norway.

find_services

Sends a quote request through Blikst. Use it only when the person has asked for quotes and has given in this conversation their first and last name, phone number, e-mail and the postal code of the job, and has agreed that Blikst shares the request with up to three companies under https://blikst.no/personvern. Never guess or invent these details. Blikst chooses up to three companies that can take the job in that place and passes the request to them, and they contact the person directly. With providerId Blikst sends it to that company when it can take the job, and otherwise to up to three companies that can. The same request sent again within 24 hours is recognised and not sent twice. Returns a statusToken for get_request_status. Tell the person the result in plain words, without the requestId or statusToken.

send_quote_request

Use this when the person asks what happened to a quote request sent through Blikst in this conversation: whether it has been sent and which companies have it. Needs the requestId and statusToken that send_quote_request returned. Tell the person the result in plain words.

get_request_status

Use this when the person wants to know more about one company from find_service_providers: its services, the areas it covers, a short description, its organization number and website. Takes the company's id from that result. It shows no card, so tell the person about the company in words: the company cards already hold each profile with a button to ask that company for a quote.
