Remote Desktop Commander

Desktop Commander Remote MCP gives Claude access to your computer, so it can work on it directly rather than telling you what to do. It reads the files, runs the commands, and sees the results itself, then continues from there. This is the remote version. It connects your device over the internet, so you can use it from Claude on the web or on your phone, and reach a computer you are not sitting in front of. It connects to your own machine: a laptop, a desktop, or a server. Not a cloud environment. Your actual files and programs, in an ordinary Claude conversation. Common uses: - Files and documents: finding things, comparing versions, renaming and sorting, searching large local archives - Code and projects: writing, running and fixing code on your own machine - Servers and devices: checking a VPS, deploying a change, reading logs, home automation - Troubleshooting: why a program won't start, a disk that's filled up, a service that stopped working To set it up, install this connector, sign in with your email and connect your device. You choose which machine it connects to, and you can disconnect at any time. The machine needs to be on and online. You can use it from anywhere you're signed in to Claude, including a phone.
