AlphaBridge MCP for WordPress

AlphaBridge connects Claude to a self-hosted WordPress website you own and run — a blog, a company site or a shop on the open-source WordPress CMS. No WordPress.com plan and no Jetpack account are needed. Your site runs a plugin; this connector is the address Claude talks to. Supported tasks you would otherwise do in wp-admin become one request in conversation. What you can do depends on the plugin edition, its settings, and what your WordPress account may do. The free plugin publishes 39 tools: list, read and search posts and pages; list and read media, comments and taxonomies; read site settings, site health and update status; create, update and delete posts and pages; upload media; create, rename and delete categories and tags; approve, reply to and remove comments. The commercial editions add tools for the database, menus, plugin and theme files, WooCommerce, SEO, installs and updates and multisite; the Agency plan adds one-step deployment over SFTP. Every tool says what kind of change it makes. A tool that only reads is marked read-only; a tool that changes or removes something that already exists is marked destructive. Claude uses these marks to decide when to ask you first. Nothing is hidden behind a general-purpose request tool. Connecting needs no AlphaBridge account and no key to copy. You enter your site address; your own site then asks you to sign in as you always do, and shows a consent page listing what the connector may do. The connection can be revoked on your site at any moment, with immediate effect. AlphaBridge stores the connection, not your content: which site is linked, the token the site issued (encrypted), the consent scope, the day of last use and a short status. It never keeps posts, pages, media or comments. You need a WordPress site of your own, publicly reachable over HTTPS, with the AlphaBridge MCP plugin installed and enabled. The free plugin is on the WordPress plugin directory and is complete on its own.
